30 Coded Bias

Coded Bias is a documentary written and directed by Shalini Kantayya and starring Joy Buolamwini, Meredith Broussard and Cathy O’Neil in a film about MIT Media Lab researcher Joy Buolamwini, who discovers that facial recognition does not see dark-skinned faces accurately, and works to push for the first-ever U.S. legislation against bias in algorithms that impact everybody.
