| On the Cover: Students in HCC’s Visual Arts program have the opportunity to create original artwork inspired by student research projects. This year’s cover design in based on a piece of artwork by May Palace. Entitle, Circadian Growth, May’s piece is inspired by research on the lifecycle and circadian rhythm of the tobacco hornworm caterpillar. In addition to May’s piece, this volume also includes original artwork by Syeda Rahman and Cole Simmons. All three pieces of artwork can be seen in full color on the inside back cover as well as in black and white inside the journal. |
